Power 2022 US Vehicle Dependability Study rates vehicles and brands based on their reliability, including measuring the number of times a vehicle is submitted for maintenance, and whether buyers are still satisfied with their vehicle’s condition after multiple years of ownership. The focus of the 2022 study included 2019 models, and Lincoln vehicles were among the most reliable.
Lincoln In Top 15 in Reliability
While Lincoln didn’t score among the absolute highest, it did outperform much larger brands and other premium vehicle brands like BMW. Lincoln led 19 brands including Mitsubishi, BMW, and GMC, ultimately scoring higher than the industry average.

The Lincoln MKZ wasn’t just the most dependable midsize premium car, it was also the only model in its segment to perform at or above average.
